H-eighties

I know, the eighties yadda yadda yadda. But it wasn’t all giant mobile phones, Duran Duran and ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’.

Jeremy Paxman got short shrift from David Peace in a recent interview where Paxman and PR hag Lynne Franks tried to portray the eighties as far less divisive and nasty that they actually were. Well worth a view at http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/newsnight/8733178.stm

The brutal and highly politicised nature of those times still hold a grim fascination for me. So I thought a mix of brutal, unsettling and highly politicised music was just the ticket. That should sort everything out. Here it is...enjoy (if that’s the right word)
